Men's Basketball won its final home game of the 2019-20 season with a victory over visiting Moorpark, 73-70.  The Cougars and Raiders are currently tied for 3rd place in the Western State Conference with one game remaining on the regular season schedule.  The first half ended tied 38-38, but Moorpark appeared ready to break open them game after the intermission with 9-4 run.  The Cougars were able to rally back to a tie, however with a little under 10 minutes to play the decidedly offensive game took a turn and both teams went cold from outside.  The Raiders and Cougars, who are ranked 2nd and 4th in the State, respectively, in three-pointers made on the season, both shot well under 30% from downtown in the second half.   The contest actually came down to free throws as the Cougars sank 75% from the line in the second half, while the Raiders missed half of their attempts from the charity stripe.  Cuesta honored its lone sophomore prior to the game and Forward Lojong Andarea Ladu responded by posting a double-double.  Andarea Ladu pulled down 10 rebounds and was the Cougars' leading scorer with 17 points.  Teammate Alex Aguirre joined him and also posted a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.  

The Cougars play at Ventura this Friday (7 PM) to complete the 2019-20 campaign.  The Pirates have already clinched the WSC crown and beat the Cougars by one basket in their first meeting, 63-60.
