The buzz is back, and Cuesta Men's Basketball is ready to return to the both top of the Western State Conference and the post-season.  The Cougars returned to action after a 4th place finish in the Western State Conference last season, but prior to the pandemic ending the 2020 post-season, the Cougars were the defending WSC Champions and riding a run of seven playoff berths in eight seasons.  Cuesta returns only four players from last year's squad, including a pair of all-Western State Conference selections.  2022 All-WSC First Teamer Juani Dassie and Honorable Mention pick Kobe Pearson, join fellow Returners Moritz Schneider and Reumang Emagna to form the Cougars veteran core.  The Cougars also expect Newcomers Javon Jordan, Aaron Russell, Drew Ardouin and Mason Romano to immediately step into prominent roles on the hardcourt. The Cougars open the 2022-23 campaign at home against West Hills-Lemoore this Wednesday (5 PM).
