Women's Basketball received an all-time performance from Sophomore Guard Maria Ferrer Brao in last Wednesday's win over visiting Bakersfield, 65-42.  Ferrer Brao dished out a game-high eight assists as she orchestrated the Cougars' second half romp as they outscored the Renegades, 38-16, after the intermission.  Her assist total is one short of her career-high but does give her a third game among Cuesta's All Time Top 20.  Ferrer Brao did not just set up other players; she also added six points, four rebounds and two steals to fill up the box score.  Former Cuesta Point Guard Maya Armenta is the only person with more games (4) among the Cougars' Top 20 than Ferrer Brao.

Cuesta Women's Basketball is 5-2 on the season and shall continue its pre-conference schedule until January.
