Cuesta Baseball opens its 2020-21 campaign on the road this Saturday (11/2 PM) with a doubleheader against Western State Conference for Ventura.   The Cougars and Pirates concluded last year's abbreviated season at opposite ends of the WSC standings and with opposite records; Cuesta was in first place at 13-7, while the Bucs were in the basement at 7-13.   The Cougars boast the return of their entire starting rotation- Jared Villalobos (2-1, 1.70 ERA), Tino Triest-Escobar (2-2, 4.45) and, Jack Lewis Miller (1-2, 6.21), as well as another 80 innings of experience out of the bullpen.  Outfielders Zachary Morris (.357) and Kirk Woolf (.338) join Infielder Nicholas Castro (.324) to give the plenty of players on-base, while Third Baseman Harrison Hart provides power in the middle of the line up.  Hart led the Cougars in home runs (4), Runs Batted In (25) and was second on the team with 16 runs scored in 20 games.
