Coach Bob Miller says, "Zach had a monster year offensively for the Cougars. He lead the WSC- North in Home Runs and RBI! He finished 2nd in the state in RBI. He had 18 doubles and the state leaders had 19. Zach is a team leader on and off the field. He has had interest from D1 programs but plans to return at this time. Zach has a very high ceiling! He is very talented and his work ethic is top notch. This young man is very deserving of this award! He is the Player of the Year for his conference and will be an All-American.
