Baseball Moves all of this Week's Games- Schedule a Doubleheader at Moorpark

This week Cuesta Baseball has preemptively moved all its games against Western State Conference rival Moorpark.  The game scheduled for Tuesday at Moorpark has been moved to Saturday and will be played as part of a doubleheader between the Cougars and the host Raiders.  The original game will be moved up from 1 PM to a Noon start, with the nightcap scheduled to begin thirty minutes after the conclusion of the opener.  The game scheduled for Thursday in SLO, will now be played next Monday (2:30) at Cuesta Field.  

The Cougars ended last week by giving Los Angeles Pierce their first two WSC victories.  The Cougars hosted and lost to the Brahmas, 8-6, on Friday and then fell again, 5-4, in Woodland Hills on Saturday.  The losses dropped the Cougars to 2nd place, with an 8-4 mark against the WSC, a half-game behind local rival Allan Hancock, who's only WSC losses (3) are to Cuesta.  LA Pierce has also escaped the loop's cellar for the first time this season and is a half-game ahead of Oxnard.
