Max Lober

Coach Max Lober is in his first year with the Cougars' coaching staff. A former Baseball Star at San Luis Obispo High School, Lober matriculated to Cal Lutheran just in time for the pandemic. He did not play for the Kingsmen but did stay around the game by working in game management. Lober returned to SLO after earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management at Cal Lutheran in 2022. He is currently a sought-after teacher working for both San Luis Coastal and Santa Maria Bonita School Districts. He has spent time with the SLO Blues Baseball team and the Cal Poly Athletic Department, before joining the Cougars staff as a pitching coach.
