Men's Basketball continued its winning streak to a fourth game with a Western State Conference win over Pierce, 72-40, in front of the home faithful. The victory improved the Cougars record to 7-11 overall and 2-0 in the WSC, while they are boasting an average victory margin of 32 points during their recent streak. Cuesta buried the visiting Brahmas with 13 three-point shots, including a game-high four by Returning Freshman Guard Darryl Brooks II (Menemonee Falls, WI- pict). Brooks posted a double-double in the game with 16 points and game-high 13 rebounds. Forwards Ketan Sidhu (Seattle, WA) and Moritz Schneider (Zurich, SUI) also reached double-digits in scoring with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Cuesta hosts Moorpark in another Western State Conference Doubleheader this Saturday. The men are scheduled to play the Raiders at 1 PM, while the women are set to follow at 3 PM.
