Men's Basketball battled 11th-ranked Allan Hancock for the first 20 minutes. The two teams were separated by only one shot at the break, 26-23, but after the intermission the Bulldogs went on a tear. Allan Hancock piled up 48 points over the last twenty minutes to pull away from the host Cougars for the win, 74-49. Power Forward Ethan Walker, with a team-high 11 points, was the only Cuesta player to score in double-digits, while also corralling a team-high seven rebounds. 2023 All-WSC First Teamer Drew Ardouin was held to only eight points in the game but did pass two-time All-WSC First Teamer Charles Thomas (1,060 points) to move into 5th place all time at Cuesta College. Ardouin, who has 1,070 career points, remains 130 points behind all-time leader Martin Rajniak's 1,200 career points with three games remaining in the regular season.
