Men's Basketball closed the 2023-24 campaign with a loss at Los Angeles Pierce, 77-67.  The Cougars and Brahmas split on the season, as the Cougars beat them in SLO on the last day of January, 64-50.  Freshman Point Guard Stevie Waiters (pict) scored 14 points to tie for the team's scoring lead with Forward Ethan Walker.  Walker matched his 14 points with a game-high 14 rebounds to record his eighth double-double of the season.  The setback dropped the Cougars to a respectable 4th place in the Western State Conference, matching the 2023 campaign, however their overall record of 11-17 kept them from returning to the post-season.  

The 2024 All-Western State Conference teams will be announced following the conclusion of the post-season
