Men's Track & Field landed in 8th place among the nine teams at last week's Wildcat Cup.  Returning Freshman Sprinter Evan Schweitzer (pict) collected a pair of third place finishes to lead the team.  He was 3rd in the 400-meter run with a time of :50.13 and joined teammates Zach Holland, Connor Prichard and Cameron Avila to finish 3rd in the 4x400 Relay (:43.71).  Prichard also earned 5th place inthe 100m (:11.15), while Leaper Thomas Rodda (pict) added a 4th place finish in the Triple jump (38' 8.25").  The Cougars were without the services of State Leading Thrower Gabriel Katches. 

The Cougars will be busy this week with two events scheduled.  Most of the athletes will compete in the Jack Albiani Meet in Modesto on both Thursday and Friday, while the Harriers are scheduled to compete in the Oxy Distance Carnival in Los Angeles on Saturday.
