Cuesta College Athletics Department is proud to announce this month's selections for the Cuesta Athlete of the Month. This distinct honor recognizes two Cuesta College Athletes each month during the school year who have performed to the highest standards in their sport. Our male selection for October is Water Polo player Dean Moody

Dean, a 2021 All American, scored 29 goals last month, including 14 in the Cougars' seven games against four-year schools.  His big month vaulted him over the century mark and he currently boasts a career total of 103 goals.  Moody is currently 3^rd on the team with 48 goals and 2^nd on the with 35 assists, while leading the team with 31 steals on defense. 

Cuesta Men's Water Polo is 25-6 overall and ranked #3 in the State Polls.  The Cougars are chasing their 43^rd straight playoff berth.
