Greg joined the Cougars as the third coach of Cuesta’s most successful program, following 44 years of Terry Bowen and John Marsh.  He took over the program midway through the 2023 campaign and immediately energized the team.  His presence helped focus the squad as the Cougars won six of their first seven games under his leadership.

Greg's water polo experience as a player, coach and clinician is extensive.  After starring at Hanford High, he was recruited by UC Irvine and spent four seasons with the Anteaters.  He led UC Irvine to three Top 5 finishes, while also eclipsing the century mark with over 100 career goals and was the MPSF's 4th highest scorer his Junior year.  After his collegiate career, he embarked on a professional career, which began with the Spanish Honor Division in 2010-11.  He returned to the States to represent the USA in the 2011 World University Games, before beginning three professional seasons in the Greek League.  His professional career also took him to Australia for the Winter of 2014, before he began to focus on his work as a coach and clinician.

Coach Enloe's career on the bench, began during his collegiate summers, when he began coaching at the high school club level with both his hometown Hanford HS team and the SoCal Club in Santa Ana.  He transitioned his time with SoCal into two seasons with both the boys’ and girls’ teams at powerhouse Foothill High, which included a combined three CIF title games and one CIF Championship.  During his time with Knights, he also spent four off-seasons in Harare, Zimbabwe working with the sub-Saharan nation's youth national team selection camp.  Greg also began the Enloe Water Polo Academy in 2014 and has travelled the world helping young men and women improve their water polo skills.  During this time, he also returned to the collegiate ranks as an assistant for both Concordia-Irvine and his alma mater, UC Irvine.  He spent two seasons back in Irvine, before completing the circle and returning to California’s Central Valley.  Back on his home turf, he founded the Kings Elite Water Polo Club in 2021, while simultaneously joining the USA Olympic Development Program as a National Team Representative and Skill Presenter.

Greg earned a bachelor’s degree, with Honors, from UC Irvine, in Earth and Environmental Sciences.  He also holds a Minor in Education with an Emphasis on Coaching.  He continued his education in the world of personal finance and is also a Financial Advisor holding his series 6, 63, 65, and 7, life and health licenses, and is a Retirement Income Certified Planner (RICP).

Greg lives in San Luis Obispo with his wife, Ilektra Psouni Enloe, and their son, Iraklis.
