Cuesta Men's Cross Country added another to their number as returner Jordan Reilly (St Helena HS) joined their ranks for the squad's second outing of the year.  Reilly made his first appearance since the Cougars' Sequoias Invitational last year and followed Cuesta Leader Luis Cervantes (Santa Maria: Righetti HS) across the line at last week's Fresno Invitational.  The Cougars did not score as a team, but all four harriers finished near the top half of the 112-person field.  Cervantes finished 39th (22:46.5) overall, while Reilly was a little more than a half-minute behind (23:19.8).  Promising Freshman Xander Mahan (Nipomo HS) and 2019 CCCAA Regional Qualifier Brenden Niller (Templeton HS) rounded out the Cuesta four-pack in 65th and 67th places, respectively.

The Cougars expect to be at full force for their next meet.  They are back in action on September 25 at the Master's Meet in Santa Clarita.
