Cuesta Cross Country returns to action this Friday, after a three-week layoff.  The Cougars, who last raced on September 4, travel to the Bakersfield Invitational this Friday (1/2 PM) at Hart Park.  The Cougars expect both teams to be at full strength after putting in a lot of hard training miles during the middle of this month.  In 2019, the women finished 2nd in Bakersfield Invitational, while the men landed 4th as a team. 

The men expect to field their first scoring team of the 2021 campaign, with both Jordan Reilly (St Helena HS) and Nicolas Moore (San Andreas) back in the pack.  Reilly finished second to team leader Luis Cervantes (Santa Maria) in his first outing at Fresno, while Moore is making his first start of the year.  

The women also hope to have their pack in full form this week.  The women boasted a full scoring team in each of their first two events but should crowd the field with all nine harriers on the course for the first time this weekend.
