Cuesta Men's Cross Country wraps up the regular season this weekend at the 2021 Western State Conference Cross Country Championship at Legg Lake in Whittier. The men's have medaled (Top 3) in eight of the past ten seasons but have not won a title since 1981.  

The men's team has only scored as team in two of their past five meets this year, but their 2nd place finish at the Sequoias Invitational two weeks demonstrated their ability to run fast as a pack.  Returning Freshmen Luis Cervantes (Santa Maria: Righetti HS) and Jordan Reilly (St Helena HS) have led the pack all season and with only five races this season they should be fresh for a good post-season run.  Freshmen Xander Mahan (Nipomo HS) and Nicolas Moore (San Andreas) join Sophomore Brenden Niller (Templeton HS) to complete the Cougars' pack.
