Men's Cross Country Finishes 14th at SoCal Preview

Cuesta Men's Country faced the entire Southern California Region last weekend and landed in 14th place among the 25 teams.  The Harriers, in their second race of the season, held up against the competition and, with two more events before the conference finals, should move up the regional rankings reach the post-season.  2021 CCCAA State Qualifier Jordan Reilly finished in the Top 50 (49th) in a time of 22:08.4, while the rest of the scoring team all crossed in the Top 200 places of the 250-man event.  Freshman Anthony Erickson was the second Cougar across the finish line among the Top 100.  He landed in 91st place (23:08.9), while Steepler Axel Reich continued his smooth adjustment to cross country in 106th place with a time of 23:26.8.  2021 CCCAA State Qualifier Nic Moore and Freshman Jorge Merced rounded out scoring team in 128th (23:57.1) and 191st place (25:44.1), respectively.  

The Cougars travel to the Western State Conference Preview Meet this Friday at Pierce College in Woodland Hills. The women's race beings at 1 PM and the men hit the course at 2 PM.
