Harriers Finish 6th at WSC preview, Reilly Continues Hot Start

Cuesta Men's Cross Country has been solid this season and appears to be poised for another trip deep into the post-season.  The Cougars have reached the CCCAA State Meet, as a team, in 11 of the past 13 complete seasons, including 19th place in 2021.  Rookie Coach Connor Fisher, who starred for Cuesta's 2014 team, knows what it takes to get to the end of the season meet and has his Cougars on pace.  All-WSC Harrier Jordan Reilly (pict-L) also know what it takes, he finished 51st last season and looks even better this year.  He has led the team in every race this year and finished 15th (23:35.5) at the WSC Preview to lead the Cougars to 6th place. Freshman Anthony Erikson (pict-R)and Steepler Axel Reich were the next two Cougars across the line, in 22nd and 35th place, while Cuesta's whole six-man contingent finished in the Top 70 of the, nearly, 100-man event.
