Cuesta's Harriers return from a bye week to compete in the 2023 Southern California Regional Preview Meet this Friday.  The event will feature most of the teams in the region, of which Cuesta is located the farthest North.  The Cuesta Men's team is led by 2022 State Qualifier Anthony Erikson, who has vaulted to the top of the pack after winning his first two starts of the season, but he also backed by a team that has placed the entire scoring team amongst the Top 65 in both its starts.  On the women's side, First-year Runners Elle Casselman and Summer Gelman have been the only Cougars on the course, so far, this season. Casselman has medaled in both her starts, while Gelman owns 4th and 12th place finishes.

The Cougars enjoyed a bye week after competition in the Moorpark Open on September 1.
