Men's Cross County finished 8th at the Bautista Invitational in Point Loma, which was their final race before their the post-season.  2022 State Qualifier Anthony Erikson led the Cougars for the sixth straight race, dating back to the 2022 State Meet, however he also lost his streak of four straight race titles.  Erikson, who had been undefeated this season, added more than a minute to his winning time at last week's WSC Preview and finished in a team-best 24th place (21:19.2).  Sophomores Axel Reich and Jorge Merced, in 69th (22:49.3) and 96th (23:53.5) places, respectively, also both the Top 100, while Sophomore Deegan Miller and Freshman Kyle Shatwell, 131st and 116th, completed the scoring pack.  

The Harriers take this week off and begin the post-season at the 2023 Western State Conference Championhip on October 20 in Woodland Hills.
