Harriers Finish 14th at Regionals to Advance to State

Men's Cross-Country returns to the CCCAA State Championship for the 12th time over the past 15 years.  Cuesta's Harriers finished 14th as a team, out of 32 teams represented, while Returning State Qualifier Anthony Erikson (pict) earned all-Region honors with a Top 10 finish.  Erikson was the 9th competitor to cross the finish line as he cracked the 20-minute barrier at 19:59.7.  Sophomore Axel Reich finished 54th (21:22.0) and was the only other Cougar to finish in the Top 100.  All-WSC Harrier Jorge Merced finished 119th led Kyle Shatwell (132nd) and Deegan Miller (155th) as they rounded out Cuesta's scoring team. 

The 2023 CCCAA State Championships will be held at Woodward Park in Fresno on Saturday, September 18.
