Cuesta Softball split a pair of games at their home tri-tournament with Sacramento City and Bakersfield.  The Cougars beat Sacramento, 4-3, in the opener, but struggled against the Renegades, despite going the distance, in the nightcap, 15-2.  The split was familiar for the Cougars, who are currently 4-4 on the season. 

The Cougars have another three-team, three-game mini-tournament scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 17.  Cuesta and Sacramento face off again at 9 AM, before they each get a shot at Los Angeles Mission College.  The Eagles, formerly known as the Free Spirit, are scheduled to play Sacramento at 11 AM and Cuesta at 1 PM.
