Women's Basketball Stays On The Road Until January 5

Women's Basketball begins this week, where they ended last week, at the Grossmont Tournament in El Cajon.  The Cougars beat Porterville, 49-45, in SLO last Wednesday, before heading to San Diego County.  They faced tournament host Grossmont in the opener on Saturday and fell to the Griffins, 60-38.  They were scheduled to play LA Trade-Tech on Sunday; however, results have not been issued at this time.  The Cougars complete the Grossmont Tournament today (1 PM) against MiraCosta.  

Cuesta can look forward to a nine-day break after today's game against the Spartans.  They next play back-to-back games up the road from Cuesta at Monterey Peninsula on Wednesday (5 PM), December 29 and in Salinas against Hartnell that Thursday (3 PM).  Cuesta begins its 2021-22 Western State Conference Schedule when they host Oxnard on January 5 (7 PM)
