Women's Basketball opened the 2022-23 season at home with a loss to Santa Ana.  The Cougars jumped out to a 7-4 lead in the first quarter, but the Dons bounced back and took a 21-18 lead into the intermission.  Both teams came out of halftime and enjoyed their best quarter of the night with 18 points each, but the Cougars could not close the gap and fell, 55-44.  2022 All-WSC Guard Olivia Missler (pict) scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Cougars, while fellow Returner Sam Watanabe (pict) contributed seven points and a game-high eight boards. The Cougars are 0-1 on the season.  

The Cougars return to action this Saturday (1 PM) at Santa Monica.
