Women's Basketball Stays on the Road, Plays Bakersfield on Tuesday

Women's Basketball hosted Santa Ana for the season opener on November 3 and has been on the road ever since.  Last weekend, Cuesta played a mini tournament at Folsom Lake.  On Friday, the Cougars fell to their hosts, the 14th-ranked Falcons, 98-42.  On Saturday, the Cougars continued their search for their first win of the season against #12 San Mateo, but fell to the Bulldogs, 69-43.  The Cougars, who are now 0-5, are a young team that boasts only one returner on their roster, but the unit has been steadily improving against a tough road schedule.  They are poised for a breakout performance as they dive deeper into their schedule, but still have one more road game before they return to their home Stork Gymnasium.  

This week the Cougars remain on the road for a game against Bakersfield on Tuesday (6 PM).  The Renegades were voted into the CCCAA South Region's Preseason Top 25 and will be another test for Cuesta. The Cougars end their month-long road trip after Thanksgiving on December 2 (5 PM), when they host unranked Reedley
