Cuesta Women's Swim & Dive competes in its final Western State Conference Mini Meet in Santa Maria this Friday (11 AM).  This week's mini meet and the Bakersfield Invitational next week are the final two meets for the Aqua-Cats, before they begin tapering for the conference and State Championships.  

Sophomore Presley Acosta and Freshman Aubrie Kirkby Tatro were the only two members of the team to make the trip to last week's Northern California Invitational, but the duo still finished 10 out of 13 teams with 64 total points.  Kirkby Tatro has spent most of her time on the planks, but also jumped into the lanes last week.  She now owns the teams third best times in the 50-free (:30.45) and 100-free (1:09.17), while also taking 7th place off both boards.  Presley was in the lanes all weekend and posted new team-bests on in three events.  She dropped her times in both the 100-breast (1:15.94) and 200-breast (2:44.59), while also dropping her 200-individual medley time to 2:30.43.
