Freshman Thrower Makaylie Howell continues to be the Cougars' big point winner for Cuesta Women's Track and Field.  Howell competed and placed in three events at the Wildcat Cup.  She won the Discus with a toss of 122' 0", while also taking 2nd in the Shot Put (34' 10.25") and 5th in the Javelin (92' 7").  Howell currently ranks 4th in the SoCal Region in Shot Put (36-10.25), 5th in the Javelin (98-1) and 6th in the Discus (122-0), as well as 8th all time at Cuesta or the Discus and Shot Put.  She has also already added 24-feet on her Hammer (80-7) this season.
