Women's Volleyball swept a doubleheader in their 2022 Home Opener.  The Cougars hosted both Lassen and Glendale for a three-team mini-tournament on Wednesday.  The host Cougars began the evening by earning a measure of revenge over Lassen with a four-set victory (23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-22).  Their fellow Cougars swept Cuesta a week ago but were no match for them at Cuesta's Stork Gym.  Cuesta dropped the first game of the match, which marked their 15th straight set loss, but rallied to win the next three and take the match in front of their home crowd.  In the sandwich game, Lassen made quick work of Glendale, just missing the sweep, in four games. Cuesta, rested after a one-game reprieve, kept the Vaqueros on their heels with a pair of wins out of the gate.  Glendale once again grabbed a Game 3 victory to stave off a sweep, but, one game later, Cuesta closed out the match for their second victory of the day (25-23, 25-17, 19-25, 25-15).  The Cougars' two wins ended a five-game skid and improved their record to 3-5 on the season.  

The Cougars end this week on the road with a one-match trip to Glendora against Western State Conference Inter-divisional foe Citrus on Friday (6 PM).
