Women's Volleyball completes its home schedule with a pair of Western State Conference North Division games this week.  Cuesta hosts LA Mission on Wednesday (7 PM) and Moorpark on Friday (6 PM).  Both matches have importance beyond the contest between the lines.  On Wednesday, the match shall be part of a doubleheader with Wrestling.  The Cuesta Grapplers shall host SouthEast Conference foe Bakersfield for a dual at 4 PM, while the Spikers face LA Mission at 7 PM.  Cuesta lost to the Eagles in four games during the first round of WSC play but are poised for win on their home court on Wednesday.  On Friday, the Cougars celebrate their traditional "Sophomore Night", when they host #11 Moorpark, back at the regular game time of 6 PM.  The Cougars All-WSC Middle Blocker Meredith Donovan (pict) is the team's lone veteran.  Donovan leads the Cougars with 3.5 points per set and slammed home her 300th career kill two weeks ago.  Cuesta still has two more WSC North Division road games scheduled for next week but may be back home for a bonus home game, depending on a coinflip, for a WSC Crossover match on November 15.  

Last Friday, the Cougars were swept on the road by #14 Santa Barbara City, 25-14, 25-7, 25-13.  The loss dropped the Cougars 5-15 overall and 1-5 in the WSC.
