Women's Volleyball hosted LA Mission for another four-game battle, however the visiting Eagles won again.  The Cougars opened the match by winning the first set, 26-24, but a couple of long serving runs by the Eagles in Game 2 kept Cuesta from a gaining a foothold and the visitors evened the match, 25-14.   The third set went back and forth, until the Eagles pulled away and took control of the match, 25-19.  The final game was more of the same, but with a twist.  LA Mission and Cuesta traded the first 30 points, but then the Eagles pushed ahead, only to have the Cougars make their own run and serve for the set, before falling, 26-24.  All-WSC Middle Blocker Meredith Donovan led all hitters with 16 kills, as the four-set loss dropped the Cougars to 5-16 on the season and 1-6 in Western State Conference play.

The Cougars host #10 Moorpark on Friday (7 PM) for their final regular season home game.  It is traditionally "Sophomore Night", so it should be a big night for Donovan- the team's lone returner.
