Women's Volleyball hosts the Citrus Owls this Tuesday (6 PM) in a Western State Conference Crossover Match to end the regular season.  The Crossover matches are between the WSC North and South Division teams of the same placing to determine playoff rankings from the circuit.  The Cougars and Owls are both the 5th place team in their respective divisions.  The two foes have already met once this season, when the Owls swept Cuesta in Glendora on September 16.  The loss initiated an eight-match skid for the Cougars, who are looking for payback when Citrus come to SLO.  The two teams also met in the crossover last year, in the 4th place game, and the Cougars' five-set win vaulted them into the playoffs for the first time since 2007.  The WSC-North should easily qualify three teams for the playoffs, with a fourth on the bubble, while the WSC-South has two spots locked up, so it is unlikely that Tuesday's match will have the same stakes as 2021.
