Women's Volleyball closed out. the 2022 campaign with a four-set win over Citrus in their WSC Crossover.  The Cougars (North) and Owls (South) both finished 5th in their respective WSC Divisions and were paired for the end of season WSC Crossover.  Citrus swept the Cougars in a non-conference match in Glendora on September 16 but had gone only 4-11 since that night.  In tonight's match, Cuesta struck back and struck first.  The Cougars claimed ten of the first 15 points on the night and won the opening set, 25-17.  In Game 2, the two foes shared the first 20 points, but the Owls took flight on a 10-2 run and, eventually, took the set and tied the match with a 25-20 win.  The rubber match was nip and tuck the whole way, Cuesta held a tenuous four-point lead to open the match, but was unable to pull away, until they claimed three of the last five points to take the third set and control of the match, 25-22.  The finale was more of the same, although when Citrus pulled ahead, 19-15, it looked like a fifth game was on the horizon.  However, Cuesta's offense caught fire and closed out the evening on a 10-1 run to claim victory, 25-20.  The four-set triumph (25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20) placed the Cougars ahead of their WSC-South rival Citrus in the playoff seeding selection process.  Outside Hitter Katey Cramer and All-WSC Middle Blocker Meredith Donovan led the Cougars to victory with their all around play.  Cramer posted a match-high 16 Kills, 5 Aces and added 16 Digs on defense, while Donovan added 14 Kills, 2 Aces, 12 Digs and a Block.  Cuesta closed out the season with a 7-18 overall record
