Cuesta College Athletics Department is proud to announce this month's selections for the Cuesta Athlete of the Month. This distinct honor recognizes two Cuesta College Athletes each month during the school year who have performed to the highest standards in their sport. Our female selection for November is Spiker Katey Cramer.

Outside Hitter Katey Cramer's all-around play was crucial to the success of the Cuesta Women's Volleyball team.  Her elite all around play strengthened the Cougars' rotation and improved the team in every facet of game.  Cramer was second on the team in Kills, Aces and Digs, while also finishing third for Blocks.   Cramer's rookie season also earned her a spot on the 2022 All-Western State Conference First Team and placed her among the Cougars' stars of the past on the school's all-time leader board.  After her freshman campaign, she ranks 18^th all time at Cuesta for Kills (236) and 9^th for Service Aces (39) in a season.  

The Cougars finished the 2022 season 7-18 overall record and in in 5^th place in the Western State Conference.
