Women's Volleyball picked up a pair of matches this week to boost its current winning streak to five matches as the Cougars completed their pre-conference schedule.  The Cuesta Spikers knocked off a pair of Western State Conference-South teams this week after to travelling to Culver City to sweep West Los Angeles (25-15, 25-20, 25-13) on Wednesday and knocking off Antelope Valley (25-18, 25-10, 25-19) in another rout back in SLO on Friday.  The Cougars have won five straight matches, while posting a 15-3 game advantage over their opponents.  The Cougars are 9-6 on the season as they enter Western State Conference North play.

Cuesta opens Western State Conference play this week with a pair of matches against the circuit.  The six-team, WSC-North is one of the toughest divisions in the State and currently boasts two schools ranked in the State's Top 20 and five programs, including the Cougars, in the Top 30.  The Cougars travel to Woodland Hills next Wednesday (6 PM) to face unranked Los Angeles Pierce but return home to host #26 Los Angeles Mission on Friday (6 PM).
