Women's Water Polo secured its 4th straight playoff berth* after finishing 3rd in last weekend's Western State Conference Tournament. The Cougars' show in the WSC Tournament earned them the 12th and final seed in the 2022 CCCAA Regional Playoffs. Cuesta travels to Long Beach City College, the Regional host, for a first-round game against 5th-seed Riverside on Wednesday (10:15). The winner of Wednesday game returns to Long Beach on Friday to face 4th-seed Fullerton in the Regional Quarterfinal. Cuesta has not played Riverside this season, but both teams attended Cuesta's MidState Invitational in early October and are a combined 0-3 against Fullerton. The Cougars are chasing their first playoff win since 2017.
