Annie joins the Cougars' coaching staff for the 2023 season to work with her former Coach Rachel Gruetzmacher. Annie and Rachel are the two most accomplished swimmers in Cuesta history. They each own four of the program’s 18 swim records and combine for 14 individual Top 10 marks. Bartolome was the 2022 Cuesta College Athlete of the Year after winning a pair of CCCAA State Titles and a 3rd place finish at the CCCAA State Swim & Dive Championships. A graduate of San Luis Obispo High, where she was Captain of the swim team, Annie attended both Fresno State and the University of Idaho, however the start of her collegiate career was upended by the pandemic. After coming home to SLO, she was able to compete and enjoy her big season with the Cougars. Annie also played water polo for Cuesta in 2022, before deciding to concentrate on her biology studies and coaching for the SLO County Club Stingrays.
Annie is a resident of San Luis Obispo.
