Women's Cross Country finished in the middle of an 11-team pack at last week's Fresno Invitational, behind four NCAA teams and host Fresno City.  Returning Freshman Julia Voss (SLO HS- pict)) finished 20th to lead the Cougars and clearedthe course in only 20:42.6.  The Cougars, were without the services of last week's race leader Dulce Esquivel (SLO HS), but Freshmen Chloe Denham (Moorpark HS) and Adrienne Frere (Morro Bay HS) both joined Voss in the Top 30, in 24th (20:42.6) and 26th (20:53.5) places, respectively.  2019 All-WSC Harrier Shannon Ferrall (Arroyo Grande HS-pict)) completed Cuesta's scoring team in 41st place (21:23.2).  

The Cougars eare back in action on September 25 at the Master's Meet in Santa Clarita.
