The Athletic Training Room (ATR) is a medical facility that provides health services for student athletes. The ATR is located in the 1000 building, next to the women’s locker rooms and overlooking the pool. The ATR is staffed with two certified athletic trainers who specialize in the prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of sports and activity related orthopedic injuries. The facility is equipped with treatment and taping tables, first aid supplies, rehabilitation equipment, therapeutic modalities, and hydrotherapy. The ATR enables athletic trainers to treat and follow up with student athletes who suffer an injury to aid them in their recovery.
