ESPN1280 Athlete of the Week- Sophomore Thrower Matthew O'Henley claimed one of five Cuesta event titles at last weekend's Wildcat Cup. O'Henley broke out in the Hammer with a winning toss of 159' 8", which extended his personal-best mark by more than 15-feet. O'Henley reached the CCCAA Southern Regional Meet in three events last year and is currently ranked 1st in the Western State Conference and 4th in the Region for the Hammer. Cuesta claimed three of the four throwing events last week and O'Henley is the fourth Cuesta Thrower to surpass Matt Godbehere's former school hammer record in the past three years. Godbehere's mark was set in 1993 and lasted 25 years, before current record holder Evan Stork broke it in 2018.
