Coach Whitney Meyer says, "Maddie Honeycutt was a dominant Outside Hitter that led the offense for our team accounting for 4.4 Points/Set.  Her steady and positive demeanor make her the perfect mentality for the Outside Hitter position because she was tasked with hitting the majority of our sets from both the front and back row (835 Total Attempts).  Maddie consistently put the ball away for points (17th in the State with 3.81 Kills/Set) and rose to the occasion under pressure situations.  She loves a challenge and thrived under our quick team offense where she could fly in and use her athleticism to put the ball away before the opponent could formulate their block.  In serve-receive and defensively Maddie was agile and quick to make spectacular plays.  She was honored with First-Team All-Conference, led the Conference in Total Kills (286) and is our Team's Most Valuable Player. Maddie is continuing her volleyball career at William Jessup University where she will be an impact player offensively and defensively."
