*2019 CCCAA State Cross Country Qualifier- 46th   

*2019 CCCAA Regional Cross Country Qualifier- 86th   

*2019 All Western State Conference Second Team

*2019 Cuesta Men's Cross Country Team MVP

*Led Cross Country to 7th Place in the WSC

*A member of the 2020 Cuesta Track & Field Team

Coach Brian Locher says, "Colby Ratzat was a spark-plug for the Cougars all season.  He was the first finisher for Cuesta in each of the last four races of the season and completed his season as the only state qualifier on the men's side.  His run at State was a spectacular one, as Colby passed approximately 50 runners during the course of the race to finish in a time of 21:44, for 46th overall.  His improvement from his senior season of high school to freshman year at Cuesta is nothing short of amazing, nearly running the same time for 4-mile courses as he was for 5K races."
