Beach Volleyball enters its final week of match play with a Western State Conference Triple-header against the Glendale Vaqueros and the Santa Barbara City Vaqueros  in Ventura.  The Cougars are hoping to pick up another win over Glendale (2 PM) and push 2023 CCCAA State Qualifier Santa Barbara City (3 PM).  The Cougars beat the Glendale, 4-1, in their first meeting March 29 for their only victory within the WSC circuit, but were swept by the Santa Barbara, 5-0.  Luckily, the Cougars open against Glendale, before facing Santa Barbara City.  The WSC's Pairs Tournament begins the following week.  

Cuesta's first-year program fell to 3-15 overall and 1-9 against the Western State Conference with losses to both Moorpark, 4-1, and Santa Monica, 5-0, last week in Ventura.  The Cougars lone win on the day came at #4 against Moorpark.  Cuesta's Olivia Sprouse and Amelie Lo Jocano beat Raiders Alex Morehead and Gianna Tayco in three sets, 17-21, 21-17, 15-11.  Lo Jocano is now the Cougars' winningest player.
