Baseball out-slugged local rival Allan Hancock, 14-9, in Santa Maria to snag the second game of their three-game series. Third Baseman Harrison Hart broke out his WSC mini-slump to lead the Cougars' assault. Hart drove in eight of the Cougars' 14 runs, while going 3-for-4, including a home and a double. Outfielders Kirk Woolf and Derek Cunningham also joined in the fun with big games at the plate. Woolf enjoyed a 4-for-5 day that included two bingles, two runs scored, and a RBI. Cunningham joined the assault by posting his first career multi-hit game, going 3-for-4 and scoring three times- twice drive in by Hart. The Cougars improved to 11-4 on the season and host the Bulldogs this Saturday (1 PM) in the finale.
