Sophomore Aidan Botti helped lead the Cougars to a 3-0 sweep in their three-game series against Oxnard.  Botti split his time in the field between Second Base and Centerfield, while batting 2nd in the Cougars' line-up most of the weekend.  Botti feasted on the Condors' pitching by going 7-for-13 on the week, while contributing 11 runs over the series.  The Sophomore Utilityman also posted six runs batted in, while his teammates plated him five more times.   Botti missed the first four games of the season, when the Cougars went 1-3, but helped right the Cougars, who have gone 7-3 with him back in the order.  The Cougars are ranked 8th in the latest SoCal Region Poll.

Cuestas continues its Western State Conference schedule this week with three games against #14 Santa Barbara City.  Cuesta shall host the Vaqueros on Thursday (2 PM)
