Men's Basketball is set to complete its non-conference schedule this week at the Allan Hancock Holiday Classic and then a WSC-crossover game against Glendale.  The Cougars won their opener in Santa Maria and will close the event against Shasta today (1 PM).  Cuesta will be back in action this Friday (3 PM), when they host the Vaqueros at Stork Gym.  

Yesterday, Cuesta's Cagers opened the AHC Holiday Classic with a victory over Palo Verde, 76-64.  Freshman Guard Shinichi Itoh led the way with a career-high 31 points, while teammates Alessandro Perotti and Lorenzo Ceffoli each posted a double-double.  Perotti was second on the team with both 15 points and ten rebounds, while Ceffoli added 13 points and a team-high 11 boards.  The Cougars enter their final week of pre-conference action boasting a 10-4 overall record and a spot in the Region's Top 25, just one spot behind this Saturday's guest, #23 Glendale.
