Returning All American Ethan Merritt was the leading scorer at the Mt San Antonio Invitational, which boasted almost 20 schools and almost 200 competitors.  Merritt owns four Cuesta Top 10 marks and improved on two of them last weekend, while scoring a meet-leading 81 individual points.  He moved up to #2 all time at Cuesta by winning the 50-breaststroke in a time of :26.61 and to #3 all time as the Runner-up in the 100-individual medley at :56.29.  He also won the 100-breaststroke and claimed another Silver in the 200-breaststroke.   Merritt may have stretched himself a little too much in the grueling 400-individual medley, but still placed 10^th in the event to help the Cougars amass 829 points for 3^rd place.
