The 2019 Men's Track & Field Team was selected as one of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Scholar Teams of the Year. The Cougars posted a combined 3.100 grade-point average, while 11 members of the 20-man team earned a 3.0 GPA or better. In competition, Men's Track & Field finished 4th in the Western State Conference and 32nd at the 2019 CCCAA State Track & Field Championship. Cuesta College has always been among the top scholar-athlete programs in the State. Men's Track & Field was one of ten teams from Cuesta College nominated in 2018-19 and became the 31st Cuesta team to be honored by the CCCAA Scholar Awards Committee over the past twenty years.
