Cuesta Track & Field is back in action at home with this Friday's (Noon) Wildcat Cup in San Luis Obispo. The competition is a reunion of sorts and pits a collection of schools coached by Chico State Alumni. Cuesta Coach Brian Locher competed for the Wildcats and has called together seven other teams boasting Chico State coaches. Five teams have Chico State Alums leading their programs; Hartnell (Chris Zepeda), Modesto (Bryan Beeman), Chabot (Kyle Robinson), Santa Rosa (David Wellman), and Yuba (Howdy Atkinson), while Modesto (Bryan Beeman) and Santa Barbara (Aaron Brown) have former Wildcats as assistant coaches. Hartnell's Chris Zepeda is also a Cuesta College Alumni.
