Cuesta Men's Cross Country qualified for the post-season with a 6th place finish in the 11-team Western State Conference Championship.  The Cougars were led, as they have all year, by 2022 CCCAA State Qualifier Anthony Erikson, who took 3rd (22:08.6) and was selected to the all-Western State Conference First Team.  Returning All-WSC Harrier Axel Reich landed in 25th (24:21.7) to earn on a spot on the all-WSC Second Team, while fellow returner Jorge Mercedfinished 37th (25:18.7) and was accorded all-WSC Honorable Mention.  The Cougars whole scoring team cross the line among the Top 70 runners in the 110-man competition.  

The Cougars take this week off and return to action on Friday, November 3rd at the 2023 Southern California Regional Championships in Long Beach.
