Cuesta Men's Cross Country sent only four harriers to the 2024 Western State Conference Championships last Friday in Oxnard and three of them garnered all-WSC honors. Cuesta's pack, due to injury, was one harrier short of a full scoring team, but the quartet represented the program with distinction. Freshman Weston Greenelsh (pict) led the Cougars for his sixth straight start and earned a spot on the 2024 All-Western State Conference First Team. He finished 5th overall with a time of 20:31.0. His teammates JP Walsh and Nick York landed in 29th (22:00.2) and 33rd (22:13.4) places, respectively, to earned all-WSC Honorable Mention, while fellow Freshman Aiden Gibson cut half-a-minute off his previous best time and crossed the line in 66th place.
Cuesta's Harriers return to action for the 2024 CCCAA Southern California Regional Championships on November 8 at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga.
